Currently we are recruiting for experienced Collections Specialists to join the Polaris team.
OVERVIEW
The Collection Specialist is responsible for ensuring that customers are aware of delinquent balances and secures payment while maintaining good customer relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review open accounts for collection efforts
Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner
Maintain and improve customer relations
Resolve client-billing problems, rescue accounts receivable delinquency, and apply good customer service in a timely manner
Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and forward issues to appropriate department
Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
Check the accuracy of business transactions
Perform data entry and administrative duties
Work in conjunction with outside collection agencies
Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards
Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required
Two (2) or more years of corporate collections work experience, including interaction with a large customer base
Knowledge of pharmacy operations systems preferred
Proficient in Sage accounting system preferred
Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer knowledge skills required
Basic math and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY
We provide qualifying full-time employees with 23 PTO (Paid Time Off) days annually. PTO is used for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave.
Please note we are a long-term care pharmacy open 24-hours, 7 days a week. And schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
